Donor Cow Profile: Bull Hill Beauty 3013

Bull Hill Red Angus Ranch

Beauty 3013, Reg. # 955937, is a phenotypically flawless Glacier Chateau daughter and with a 108 WWR, 106 MPPA, 370 day CI, and seven traits in the top third of the breed, she definitely walks the talk of “pretty is as pretty does”!  Her son by LMG Monument was a very influential sire for us, and his daughters will make quite a contribution to our herd in the future.

Watch for Beauty’s influence on our herd to spread as we have plans to continue using her in our ET program.  Recently, her daughter by OHRR Dakota Rambler 10H 75R scanned 1.44” REA/CWT, 4.60 IMF, and .20 BF.  Study her and I think you’ll agree.  She’s a tremendous BEEF COW!  Her recent ET matings to Premier and Legend should be outstanding.  Call for more details.

Donor Cow Profile:  Bull Hill Prissie 7001

Bull Hill Red Angus Ranch

Bull Hill Prissie 7001, Reg. #1227225.  This female has been a standout since birth, but she “rang the bell” when she scanned a 16.64 in. ribeye, (1.55 in. / cwt), 6.32 IMF Score, and .27” backfat as a yearling.  She rang it again as Grand Champion of the 2009 South Carolina Junior Beef Round-Up where she beat out two class winners and one division champion from the 2009 National Junior Show.

She then “set the table”, with a near perfect udder shape, and delivered a fantastic Mission Statement heifer calf, the REAL PROOF!  Her sire, Magnum, from the Hueftle program in NE, combines B571 with the dam of Cheyenne and Above and Beyond.  Six of his sons averaged over $6000.00 in Pieper’s Spring ’09 bull sale.  Her dam, posts a 106 MPPA and a 107 WWR.  Exceptional pedigree and phenotype, “off the chart” ultrasound scan data, a showring champion, and a good doing brood cow.

Prissie 7001 continues to be a mainstay in our ET program and recent matings to Advantage, Premier and Legend will write a whole new chapter.  Her son, No Worries, by “No Doubt” continues to work well as a herd sire for us and his calves have explosive growth and exceptional phenotype.  Watch for Prissie’s influence to continue to impact the Red Angus breed.
